Regulation that drove down smoking was incremental and changed norms over decades. Mandatory use of seatbelts initially wasn't recieved well by the public. Hope we still have the patience to trust this might take longer than 6 months, as well as some trial and error #auspol

Austerity always ends up costing more in the long-term. It's easy to cut funding and capacity. It takes much more funding and effort to bring that capacity back.
