Not sure how I am on a list for Turning Point. Was going to pitch it but this felt better.
Congress works 140 days a year and earns $174K annually, plus full benefits. How can anyone survive on that without a few stock trades and a little insider trading? They get 225 days off a year and think it’s okay to hold the federal minimum wage at $7.25 an hour for 17 years.

As I listen to all of the people that were at the WHC talk about how frightening it was, how loud the gunshots were. As an elementary school teacher, I just want to scream “now imagine you’re a five-year-old and you’re hiding under a desk because you hear gunshots.”
