Got done with a new PT since the one I started with is leaving. This one specializes in spines and tested my reflexes and my left knee did nothing when tapped. So that’s fun. She thinks my L3 nerve is still compressed. I want to keep at therapy and maybe not have to get a second shot.

Spent this weekend very lowkey and resting. I did way more than I was really ready for and then got some work done when I got home and my leg was particularly angry. There are things that still aren’t quiet right and still healing So instead of feeling normally my leg kept reading things as prickly.

The one thing these kinds of trips do is make me miss road trips with my dogs. Freya was built for travel. she just settles in & rolls with it. She was perfect on our 2.5 week road trip back in 2019. Y’shtola hasn’t had that big experience. Her longest trip so far was 13 hours & she was more awake.
Heading home. Ready to rest. This has been the most walking I’ve done in a month and a half so I feel like I’ve had a big work out complete with sore muscles. Before my back issue, this would have been a nothing and I want to be back to that point sooner rather than later.
Got things sorted with the concert venue for accommodation to sit instead of standing. That’s a huge relief because I’ve done so much walking these last two days and my nerves are pretty upset.
I very much enjoyed the Field Museum but the Shedd felt too narrow in areas while the tanks caused bottlenecks and other things were kind of a bust because of renovations and the sea otters weren’t out. It was also weird to have to take an elevator down to the reefs exhibit.
