Something that I also thought would be interesting whenever Ability Buff/Nerf discussion happens is: What if Stealth Jump was applied like how Sub Power Beakons work. 1 Player wears the ability and anyone who jumps to the (object owned by the) wearer gains the effect on their jump.

Would it be too self indulgent to include a self-insert as the +1 Secret Rare of a set as opposed to something grounded in the source material and likely appeals to a wider audience? The Grid for the OC wouldn't be original but for the official character it would.

Share ideas/plans? But I want to keep them a surprise. But it's going to need outside help to meet it's full potential. But the finalization of it is still so far away it's foolish to start spreading it now. But... But... But...

Dream tournament result is obviously a LAN win but I think playing/winning a tournament where I don't allow myself to play the same weapon (kit) twice throughout the entirety of it would be a fun achievement.

Fun fact: There are no weapons that exist in all available design themes from throughout the games. The closest we have are: Splattershot (The most redesigned weapon due to being the posterchild/mascot) which misses out in only the Grizzco and Barazushi categories. It even has one of the two

This goober is the poster child for (my assumption of) why some obvious options for Tableturf cards have/will not be introduced in Splat3. Every card in the game currently features a unique grid. This prevents multiple cards from being mechanically identical and avoids additional Deck Building rules

Vibes 4 over. 😞 Was good seeing people again both new and old. Nepotism wins the Salmon event again. 🥳 I'm glad to see people enjoyed the things I brought along, maybe a booth someday? Motivated to do something next time after spending most of Day 2 just being a table/bag guard.

The Away Team In a tournament that includes counterpicks you always default to allowing the opposing team to choose the upcoming map/mode regardless of who just won. Use it as an opportunity to test your skills outside of home-field-advantage. Bonus: everyone wears B-ball Jersey (Away).

We need more whimsical teams participating in Splat tourneys. Ones whose names reflet their playstyle or weapon choice. Ones who make everything between each member match. Ones who impose on themselves personal restrictions that aren't necessitated by the TOs. Even better if they're good at it too.

If weapon drops are truly random, as in any weapon can drop on any stage no matter how far into the game you are, I wonder if anyone is ever going to do a Professor Oak's challenge-style run. Replaying Stage 1 until you get all x weapons and any upgrades on the ship before you play stage 2 etc.

Funny idea for a competitive team: Game 1 you play 4 Shot as your default comp. Game 2 you use the comp your opponents used in Game 1. Game 3 you use the comp your opponents used in Game 2. Repeat until the end of the match. Repeat from Game 1 each match.

I'm so excited for Raiders. From what we've seen of weapon acquisition, ability chips and Salmonid materials I feel it's taking some cues from musou games but with level design closer to traditional Splatoon. Still 12 more days until the direct. 🫠

Nothing dampens the mood for a movie more than hearing that it's actually just "Part 1/2/etc." and that the finished story probably won't be around for another X years. A standalone movie getting a sequel is cool, a pre-existing story getting split across 10 years sucks until the final part releases

With more companies pushing a/i as part of their products/services I feel it's a good habit to start de-branding common language. I'm not Googling something I'm (re)searching. I'm not Photoshopping I'm editing an image. etcetera.
