Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

i’ve been away from streaming for so long that i’m nervous to come back but it is such a fundamental part of me that i can’t imagine not making content. it gave me some of my best friends, community memories that will stick with me for a lifetime, and the ability to express myself fully.
