I Was There, But I Wasn't

There were moments when I couldn't even understand what was happening around me. People were talking, things were moving, life was going on, but somehow none of it seemed to reach me. My mind was so overwhelmed that even the simplest things became difficult to process. I could hear everything without really listening, see everything without truly noticing. It felt like I was slowly losing touch with the world right in front of me. I was physically there, trying to keep up with everything, but my thoughts were somewhere I couldn't even explain. I was there, but I wasn't.
