Went and saw Spider-Man: Brand New Day this afternoon & I loved it. Some of the swing work made me feel like I was actually soaring through the streets of NYC. I laughed, got a teary eyed. It made me so happy to see Florence Pugh as Yelena. I love her, and even in a tiny cameo she just shone.

Watching the live stream, and it seems like they are stalling. Has Trump tried to go to the Supremes? Aside from the fact it was a travesty that he put his name on the building in the first place, he had the gall to put his name above President Kennedy's.

The vet cleared my horse Odyssey to go back to full work. We just need to take it slow about building him up to the upper levels in dressage. But as I was leading him over to the trailer to go home he stepped on the edge of my shoe and tripped me.
Worked with a friend breaking the plot of his movie script. He has a really great theme and how it ties into what is happening in our world. We got a big hunk of it done, and it's coming together really nicely. I love doing this, but it is mentally exhausting.

It's Memorial Day when we honor the fallen. My dad was too young for WWI and too old for WWII, but his younger brother served in WWII and miraculously made it home alive after landing at Normandy and being trapped in the Battle of the Bulge.
Okay, I stipulate that I am old. I saw the first Star Wars movie on opening day (at midnight because they had so many people they had to add extra showings) with my friend Vic Milan. My beloved father was dying & I was studying to take the bar exam.
Started watching Empire Strikes Back while I prepared dinner tonight, and of course couldn't stop watching. I love the movie so much. It gave me the push to quit the law firm and commit to being a writer.
May the Fourth Be With You Yes, I love Star Wars. It helped me decide to reach for my dream, leave the practice of law and start to write. Star Wars gave me my life and my joy.

I am gutted. Today the Roberts court spit on the sacrifice of thousands of Black people who endured beatings, arrest, and death to finally access the rights supposedly guaranteed to them by the Constitution. Democracy has only existed in this country for 61 years.

My Loki is so smart. Had the Meezers outside while I emptied flower pots for spring flowers & of course they ate grass which guarantees they will puke. We get in the house, Loki lets out that Siamese wail that means "I'm going to barf.!"
I despise Trump with every fiber of my being, but I've lived through too many political assassinations, and I never want to see another. I want Trump removed from office by Constitutional means, tried in a court of law for his many crimes and sentenced by the rule of law.
Trump wants the Correspondents Dinner to be rescheduled because he's angry he didn't get to make his speech demeaning, insulting and belittling the press. A free press, like the rule of law, is essential for a stable democracy. Trump wants to destroy both.
My baby horse was the N.M. first level dressage champion and now the third level dressage champion. Let's see what this year brings when he goes fourth level and Prix St. George.

I managed to iron all the napkins and placemats and a tablecloth from Thanksgiving. I usually keep putting it off until it's suddenly November and I have to iron them for the next Thanksgiving dinner. Please clap.
I walked along taking video of the crowd and there were more coming from all directions.
Went into Santa Fe early for breakfast at The Plaza Cafe, then walked up to the Roundhouse for the No Kings rally. Big crowd and we sang and laughed and cried and cheered. Here is one of my favorite signs.
Since my gaming group didn't play last night, I took myself out to see Project Hail Mary. It was so good. And such an interesting structure for the script. Worked really well.
It was a struggle to get this photo because Vento kept wiggling, and trying to eat grass, and spin around because just standing was _So Boring_! wish I had been riding Odyssey because he just stands after you halt and just chills, but Vento has no idea what chill means.
