There is this nice shot in the TNG episode "Lessons" that I love. In this episode Picard faces a situation where someone he is romantically involved is on an away mission and might die. So, without showing Picard distressed, the show does this unique shot to show him vulnerable and small.

Every episode of Strange New Worlds feels like the screenwritters had an idea for the premise, a Fun Premise and then they do their best to reach it. It doesn't matter if they have to burn continuity, lore, ethics or science to reach there. The Fun Premise takes priority.

I've just realized that I haven't seen any footage of the World Cup. Not even intentionally. I'm aware it is going on. I've read some stuff that happened. I've heard (and I'm hearing) people reacting to it. But if you told me the field grass was blue, I couldn't say otherwise.

It's petty, but it is kinda fun seeing that the people who said "You should adapt and use AI in your work to not be out of date" are struggling to keep working as much as I am. Because AI was never a tool for workers. AI is a tool to replace workers.

As someone who doesn't consume a lot of LEGO, for the life of me, I can't understand how LEGO Dreamzzz isn't more popular than it is. Every time I see one I think how much I would have loved playing with it as a kid.

Atempting to do the Guillotine. I'm not entirely sure if I have enough information to do it correctly, so I might have to skip it untill I have more (or just do whatever I want with the parts I can't see).
