For a goat, she has been called 'Doe eyes' a lot lately. She isn't quite sure she gets the reference. ๐ง Happy #๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฒ๐ซ๐๐๐ฒ
Cue a head tilt. Are these items free to take?
He is leaving out baked goods and wine.
A day dedicated to lovers, hm? That means that @thecliverosfield.bsky.social will have all of her attention today. ๐จ: haam
Now just because she doesn't have someone special doesn't mean the saytress can't bake herself a sweet treat. Don't mind her busing herself in the kitchen.
"I see." She seemed to visibly deflate at the statement. It seemed she was interested in these mystery beings.
"Well, I can't say we have spoken long enough to make any major opinions. They have tend to wandered off as soon as they got here. Such is the way it goes, unfortunately."
She was currently taking shelter from the blizzard outside. It really came out of nowhere.
If her host was truly being kind then the satyress would not stand on ceremony. Stepping forward she would take a look at everything lining the displays. An amethyst gaze finally settled on a lone domra. It seems that she found something that called out to her after all.
โ Of course not. I am a teacher. And I invite curiosity. If you would like to hold one, you may. I am trusting you to be careful. โ More light illuminated the room with just a wave of her hand, and she could more clearly see all that she possessed. This library was all hers to observe and explore.
That was mighty kind of him to offer. What instrument strikes his fancy anyways?
"Might I ask what sort of people they were? Those that you met?"
"Quite a few times actually. It was new to me about a year ago but I have adjusted well I'd like to think."
Oh? She was originally the musician. Would he like to help out with the accompaniment?
Don't mind the attire. She was hired to play at a festival and apparently all the entertainment had to dress as such. It will be a pain to carry her lyre around like this though. Happy #๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฒ๐ซ๐๐๐ฒ
If she were to speak of one guilty pleasure of hers. It would be dancing beneath the moonlight. There's a certain magic to be found in the quiet night. Happy #๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฒ๐ซ๐๐๐ฒ ๐จ: haam
Just know when you're being mean to her, this is who you're being mean to. What do you mean she just tried to cast (*๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐) on you? Happy #๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฒ๐ซ๐๐๐ฒ
Hesitation, unsure if she could genuinely express her desires without seeming rude. "Yes, you have a great collection. Some of these I've only heard of them. I hope my curiosity hasn't been unbecoming, madame."
โ Well met then, Vasiliki. โ She certainly possessed more manners than the average. The madame respected that in a person. Respect was given, and so she would be rewarded for that. A hand gestured to her vast library. โ You seem to like my instruments. Do they appeal to your gaze? โ
"Huh? You mean to tell me that you've seen people like me before???"
"You aren't the first I've seen that had those kinds of features." He'd shrug. "I doubt you'll be the last. Besides, it isn't like it changes much."
"You don't seem bothered by all the...." She gestured towards herself. The horns, hooves, all of it. He had happened to see her without the glamour and showed now reaction.
"Go on. Ask whatever you'd like."
Happy little clip clops could be heard as she made her way. Guess who happened to find a great deal on pears today.
There was a pause in her movements. A glance thrown his way. "Could I ask you a question?"
He was glad that she seemed comfortable for the most part. It was unusual dealing with a new guest in the house. But he was trying to adapt. It was better than silence but he did still feel quite awkward about it.
A madame? She immediately sank into a curtsey, hand going over her heart. A sneaky glance towards the instruments, an indescribable urge to play them rising. "You may call me Vasiliki, a simple traveler."
โ If that is indeed true, then you have come to the right place. โ She opened her arms at wing-length in a welcoming gesture. The lights in the room seemed to spring to life, illuminating the dozens upon hundreds of instruments in her study. โ I am Madame Sonata, a connoisseur of musical arts. โ
First thing was first, preheating the oven then setting out the dry ingredients and mixing them together first. Low hums could be heard from her as she worked, an ever present smile on her lips.
He would give a small nod and show her where she could find each of the ingredients that she may need. For now he just wanted to let her get comfortable in the kitchen before they moved forward. "You can go ahead and start. I'll do some prep for my own in the background."
She isn't well versed in the art of flowers, but she thinks they are lovely all the same.
A bright smile greeted her. Hopefully, the fact that she was just silently listening wasn't off-putting. "I hope that you didn't mind. I have an interest in the arts, you see."
A final chord puts to rest the last song in her repertoire. And she takes a single breath before closing her eyes. As her fingers rest upon each individual key, she relaxes her shoulders; her work, finished. Then, without even turning her headโฆ โ I was not aware I would be having an audienceโฆ โ
"It's going to be the best thing you've ever tasted, trust me." She started to look around the kitchen for the necessary ingredients. Hums could be heard from her as she looked around.
He was shocked at how drastically her mood shifted at the thought of making food. "Well with praise that high I can't help but want to have you make some."
