Was messing around and came across an effect that seemed like looking through cloth, so ran with that.
Did this when a Coronal Mass Ejection -- > Northern Lights was in the news. Happy with how the aurora turned out :) Completely phoned in the ground cause it wasn't the fun part :P
I really lost steam between previous drawing and this one, and to this day I'm still less consistent than the first few months of effort. Anyway here's some birds from pokemon gold/silver era.
In light of recent fanfest FFXIV x EVA announcements, I guess I'll wanna try and revisit this idea sometime soon :D

Pichu! Turns out you can do some neat stuff with layers to get a canvas-y effect as colors blend, which is neat.
