Hot take: Circe is an infinitely better book than The Song of Achilles.

Hey @nin.com Any idea when y'all are going to restock the Downward Spiral umbrella? Cause I've been singing in the rain and I'm freakin soaked.
Madeline Miller is so talented and such an enthusiastic geek. Her zest for the classics reminds me (fondly) of my high school Latin teacher. 🤓
This August. Words by me, art by the amazing @willsliney.bsky.social. Get ready!
Hearing conservative women bitch about how much they hate Yesteryear makes me smile. The concept that both conservative and liberal women cannot win in society bothered them so deeply. Who’s going to tell these women that they are just as mentally ill as the main character? 😆
Two ⭐️Star Wars⭐️ books out next week. The world is healing ❤️🩹
Always call out bad behavior. Bring back shaming wrongdoers.
My summer of reading is halfway through. I feel utterly surprised by my progress and proud of my tenacity. I love reading! Keep going authors!

American Fantasy by @emmastraub.bsky.social As an avid NSYNC fan in my teenage years this book felt personal. It felt like a warning. Do not go see BSB at the Sphere in Vegas. Listen to the songs fondly and move on with your life. JC Chasez will not fall in love with you. 3 stars
Love You to Death by @jennalevine.bsky.social I was lucky enough to receive the ARC of this book (thanks @netgalley.bsky.social ). My soul belongs to Jenna Levine. I adore her writing, & I adore the characters & worlds she builds. There was also a cute easter egg that made my fangs tingle. 5⭐
Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke Thankfully @mysapl.bsky.social had this available for a No-Holds weekend, and I devoured it. This story was so depressing. However, the traps laid for women in society are easy to fall into. I'm glad I read this book, but it definitely left me shell-shocked. 4 stars
Best Hex Ever by @nadiaelfassi.bsky.social Two-for-two Nadia! I love witches, I love cozy cafes, and I love cozy, romantic countryside weddings. Be forewarned, this book is super spicy. I was hexed for sure. 5 stars
An Now, Back to You by @authorbkborison.bsky.social Just delightful. I enjoyed this more than First Time Caller simply bc I adore meteorologists and weather men/women. These two are just big dorks whose weather systems naturally collided and brewed up a rainfall of love and steaminess. 4 stars
The Correspondent by Virginia Evans Very refreshing format. I was highly interested despite the constant narrator switches. I see a lot of similarities between Sybil Van Antwerp and myself. I highly recommend the audiobook. 5 stars
