2026 continues to be the year of artists calling everyone out and I love it. Rivers Cuomo opening new Weezer song by saying “here’s that nostalgic slop you wanted, piggies.”

KING RALPH II: HEIR WE GO AGAIN releasing in theatres in 1998!
I won’t let this happen. I will make the world properly appreciate you, Brandon. And if it doesn’t…I will make the world pay.
I like that this cover makes it look like it’s a song about the struggle to reach a high shelf
I would like it on the record that I think SUPER TROOPERS 3 going in a Bollywood direction with Farva starting a forbidden romance with Thorny’s sister is a very clever and sweet idea for a third film in a silly comedy series and I think demonstrates how much work they do put into this.

[Radio DJ after premiering Ozzy Osbourne’s “Mr. Crowley” in 1980] “And that was the new single from the Ozzman, ‘Mr. Crowley.’ Wow. Never gonna play that one again. That intro sent chills down my spine. Sounded like Dracula. Dracula in a dungeon playing an organ. Too scary, Ozzy! Try again.”
The Chicago White Sox have acquired actor Kevin Dunn.
I don’t think any band should have a run of three good albums. There should be two good albums in a row and then one album that people either think is their worst album or secretly their best album and they argue about it until the end of time.
A run of three good albums is piss easy. Who doesn’t have a run of three good albums? Nobody, that’s who.
There will never be such a thing as irrefutable fact again. Our brains are fully cooked and AI is going to gradually warp our understanding of the world until no two people share a common reality. We’ll all be in dissociative states getting into fist fights over what day of the week it really is.
RFK Jr said these words today on national television "There were ICUs that were empty all over the country including in New York at the height (of the pandemic)" hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha You are a fucking idiot hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha <sobs silently>
What I love about this album is that it has its serious moments but it’s also by far the funniest thing they ever did. Three buddies overcoming a tragedy by goofing off together in the studio. Mike D rapping “like Lorne Green you know I get paid” because he knows it’ll crack the other two up.
Listening to that weird album where the Beastie Boys hit middle age and started rhyming about 9/11 and gun control
We need MAKE IT MAKE SENSE: THE MOTION PICTURE next summer from Amazon Studios
A long time ago me and a friend came up with a bit where we would do the intro from Mick Jagger and David Bowie’s “Dancing in the Street” cover where they’re just shouting out countries but we would never get to the song we would just keep shouting out countries like that was the entire song
Mambo No. 5 but he just keeps counting from the beginning straight through to the end

It’s funny that after THE ODYSSEY, the world probably would have been ready for Nick Cave’s GLADIATOR 2.
