The way thoughts are shown in this manga is so good. How they are directly overlaid in the foreground over the events, with the "trailing" effect showing the pace at which they go. Yamashita really is a masterclass with this kind of stuff.

Hibari's Morning (2011) (Tomoko Yamashita) 5/5. The use of the varying perspectives and especially the paneling really elevated this. It really does get across those frustrations perfectly. Yamashita really is a masterclass in conveying thoughts and perspectives visually.

This episode really reminded me of the Black Rose Saga.

First season of Princess Tutu was very good. Loved how it naturally led into an ED sequence at the end to play even more into the story aspects.

Caught up with Fool Night, still such a good manga.

Really love this part here of the clash from his glowing dagger leading to these long drawn out detail shots.

I like how the more detailed style generally reserved for the backgrounds is being used for Medon here to emphasize his size.

Hiromi and Reika's relationship is so good...

One thing I really like about Aim for the Ace! is how much emphasis is placed on the progress of Hiromi even when she is losing conclusively against a much better opponent.

The way the mechanisms of the story are actively growing stronger here is interesting. Also this show uses its ballet songs very well.

Alien 9 (anime) (2002) (Hitoshi Tomizawa, J. C. Staff) 4/5. Took a tiny bit for this to really get going and start doing something of it's own beyond just an adaptation, but really liked how it went in the end. Really loved the dream sequences in this.
