Well, in any case, we won't know till we get there. I expect to encounter wandering Demonic Beasts along the way... But those that have strayed from their pack are no threat to Fujimaru anymore. Let's try to gain the ranchers' gratitude by quickly disposing of them as we move along!

I was... a being that only loved beautiful conclusions. I may have a human appearance, but my true self is cold-blooded like an insect. I am a non-human incapable of even feeling proper emotion. And yet, I have fallen in love with a single, beautiful heart.

Yes, indeed. A powerful ace that I've kept up my sleeve. But who summoned him? It wasn't King Gilgamesh. Nor the Mage King's Holy Grail. ...I shouldn't even have to say. It was you, Fujimaru, of course.

ARTORIA: Even after I told you time and time again to refrain from getting into too much trouble with the ladies. That's the one thing you can never fix no matter how many years have passed. MERLIN: It's my reason for living after all. What is life without flowers?

King Gilgamesh sees value in what humans create. "Humans themselves are foolish, but the things humans create have meaning..." That's probably a belief that lies at his core.

Well, I delightedly went along with his plan, so you could also say the same for me. But at the time it seemed like a good choice, and it was in fact the best move we could've made. We created the ideal king, and if you ask me, I think we did a good job.
