More of us are starting to play that Zip game on LinkedIn than anyone is willing to say. I'm going to stand here bravely and say yeah, I do play it when it appears in my notifications, okay? I'm a sicko.

Truly the best farming Sim to come out since Stardew imo. Has such a great aesthetic, energy, tone, playfulness, and so many QOL fixes. I'm trying to avoid picking up the Steam Deck to play again too much because it'll eat literally all my time - and it's worth it!

Fields of Mistria ✨ Out now in 1.0@fieldsofmistria.bsky.social · 16h ago

Fields of Mistria 1.0 is here!✨ Thank you to everyone who's joined us on this journey, shared feedback, showed us your farms, created fan art, and loved Mistria as much as we do. 1.0 is just the beginning. 🌱 Download on Steam: bit.ly/Mistria

I think generally a lot of people have no idea what backend software for important places can actually look like and honestly, it's a TRIP. We used to use a bastardised JIRA to manage car magazine ads when I worked at a magazine company. I have Seen Some Interfaces.

This is not a joke. This is a screenshot of the actual case management software used by Massachusetts' 11 District Attorneys. Must-read work here by @nasser.wiki nasser.blog/dial-up-just...

I am not joking: this is AOL era software. It's got clip art. IDK how it even works on modern computers

I have the lazy cold from hell that is just a scratchy throat and fatigue and not even remotely bad enough to curl up in bed for a week but remains a constant hum of low-grade annoyingness. It feels like everyone is sick at the moment!

I just got home from a night out seeing a lot of people I really love admire and respect, and my (asleep) husband had put my side of the electric blanket on, and that is maybe the dream way to end a working week.

Now that I'm fully remote, I find on my work days I lock in way too hard sometimes and don't get up to stretch/get water often enough. For friends who are the same, do you have any good desktop companion games that are good for reminders and not too distracting, or do you use manual timers etc?

I have seen one million reminders that we are testing an emergency warning system next week on Monday to our phones. I know for a fact I am going to leap out of my seat in fear the second it goes off because I will have forgotten that we are testing an emergency warning system next week on Monday.

LinkedIn is making me insane. I have a duplicate account I don't need that I tried to delete, but it wanted a password. I make a password. It says no problem I'll delete. It doesn't delete. Spam emails continue. I go back. Ask it to delete. Add a password. I make a password. I'll delete!

I had big plans to go back to sleep at what would’ve been half an hour+ ago and now we’re at pens and maybe I will be taking my niece to a card convention on 3 hours sleep, but god I hope it’ll be worth the fatigue.
