Democrats should immediately introduce legislation requiring all importers to pass any tariff refunds they receive on to their customers. Whether it can be implemented, I don't know, but they need to grab the ground.

Having recently learned of two former colleagues at progressive organizations who have sold out, I just want to express my appreciation for those who haven't. Being cynical about whether the work is worthwhile is easy, as is finding excuses for taking lucrative jobs pushing a corporate agenda.
