Every creative industry has less representation for queer people, non whites, neurodivergents, et all because of a variety of factors but the most underdiscussed one is 'paying your dues' is something that is best done by already financially well off people with less structural disadvantages.

weird accomplishments: I taught a dozen professional athletes in completely unrelated subjects. I've belonged to every socioeconomic class in the US under ultra-wealthy. I taught an anime legend how to fold paper frogs. I had a pixel artist lecture me on pixel art using my own work as exemplars.
