IN France, the word of this summer is "canicule" which means "heatwave." The word clearly isn't from French. "Chaleur" and "vague" are heat and wave. Must come from Latin: cane and culus which means "dog's ass". How hot is it, Jean-Claude? It's hotter than a dog's ass.
I thank @therickwilson.bsky.social for his service but at this point in the American Crisis we don't need lectures about what's happened. We need people with multi-million platforms organizing against MAGA, not charging 20 quid to tell us what we know. Resistance is not a business model.

IN Germany 1933 Jim Acosta would've been beaten to death by Brown Shirts. In 1935 he would have been taken to PrinzAlbrechtstrasse for a basement interrogation by the Gestapo and then shipped to Dachau. Proportion people. We can still joke about Trump shitting himself without fear of such reprisal
