Twitter @mhall55nine Music, art and nature is priceless!

If you have ever read The Raft (short story by Stephen King) you will get a fright out of this snort story too. I associate The Raft with car mufflers. The Jffy Muffler had a stack of books in the waiting room. It took that long to get a new muffler. I read the story there. New muffler, new fear.

‎Saturday, Sunday… flew to Fukuoka with my daughters.
‎Talked to someone from Kumamoto last Thursday. My eldest daughter overheard and just said:
‎"Dad. Let's do this."
‎That was it. That's what got things moving.
‎Her friends and some of my old coworkers pulled strings, made calls, made it happen.
‎Things people in Kumamoto took for granted until yesterday — just gone now. That thought got heavier every single day.
‎Then a typhoon showed up too.
‎Why does nature have to pile on?
‎Somehow, still on schedule — we got the supplies to Fukuoka.
‎Thank you to everyone who helped.
‎Don't forget them.
‎We're with Kumamoto.

But not to visit the Los Angeles wildfire victims who were burned out of their homes and are still waiting for him to release $30 billion in federal disaster aid. Aid families were promised. Aid they deserve. Aid he's been sitting on for over a year.
