Today’s Supreme Court decision upholds what the constitution makes clear: if you’re born in the United States, you’re an American citizen.

On the anniversary of Stonewall, I was proud to join the Alice B. Toklas LGBTQ Dem Club Pride Breakfast. California has historically led the way for LGBTQ rights, and at this moment of renewed attacks on our communities, I intend to continue the fight for inclusion, dignity, and love for all.

So grateful for the people-powered movement we built together. To every single one of you who supported this campaign, I cannot thank you enough. Now let’s run through the tape in November.

As a father, one of my greatest blessings has been watching my three daughters grow into the remarkable women they are today. Their strength, compassion, and determination inspire me every day of this campaign. Happy Father’s Day to all those celebrating.
