On Nov. 8th, 2026, after 49 years of travel, the Voyager 1 space probe will reach a distance from Earth equal to 1 light DAY. Proxima Centauri is the next nearest star to Earth at 4.24 light YEARS away. Voyager 1 would reach it in about 74,000 years. The universe is big.

If Mitch McConnell is simply doing physical therapy to improve his walking so he will have less risk of further falls why can he not address the country and put to bed the concerns that something is being hidden? It's ludicrous at this point.

Remember the days when the stupid things the POTUS did didn’t dominate the news every single day? When you didn’t know what they were doing 24/7? Anyone else miss those days?
Such a loathsome person. It’s like every individual in this administration is in a sprint to prove themselves a worse human being than the rest.
This is a story about the President and several of his hand-picked appointees all committing crimes and blatantly lying to the public while stealing public funds and abusing the criminal justice system, but the NYTimes describes the situation like they're recapping a soap opera.

Don’t let this just be the Justice Department, though. There was whole-of-government effort to cover up Trump’s own rashness and incompetence in this, and to manufacture false charges and subject innocent Americans to the full weight of the criminal justice system to do it.

Got to visit the town of Detmold Germany today and the church there in which my great great grandfather was baptized in 1819 before emigrating to the US in 1848. The church, built in 1564, and most of the town, was spared major destruction during WWII.
Cologne cathedral on a sunny July afternoon. 632 years, foundation stone to completion, and just about the only structure to survive the WWII bombing.
