My current approach to integrating AI into higher education begins with faculty research. We not only garner excellent UX feedback on our AI tools based in faculty's expertise, but also focus our attention to where AI can assist, not replace, academic excellence.

I've been recommending ArcOnline's "Survey123" to a number of faculty at my institution. It makes data entry easy, permits image uploads, and can geocode information instantly. Plus, with one survey, multiple students (in a class, or across multiple internships) can contribute to data-collection. 👍
