a mice-nice welcome! how may i help you? i sometimes make fun stuff when i'm in a ecstatic mood. but most of the times that you'd find me - is merely interacting with people i like/enjoy their works.

you know, i wrote the full-stack for the mice nest a long while ago at this point (two years ago) and despite having a few flaws i just feel ecstatic w/ how fluid and modular this is. i dunno it just makes me really excited to tinker around and add new things w/o feeling bloaty. that's rare.

the nest, rethinked a ""recreation"" of some sorts of a render i did almost five years ago. it'll be used for a larger package of new things i have to show, really really soon. :) #blender3d

a nest.

phew! finally. this month's a.m. (from april 23 to may 20) is @feinando.bsky.social . you may had also noticed a few changes, and, rejoice, mobile users: portrait mode is now a thing. it may not work under *all* pages but it should be accessible enough. enjoy!

blender's delaunay fill algo was probably the best news i could ever hear this week hell, maybe even this entire month! it's *that* insane to me given i was a strong critic of how blender handled this. can't wait to give it more of a shot on the next month or so. i'm so happy.

one of my favorite albums that i listened to this year (thus far) was by the late Elza Soares. she was 85 years old when she recorded said album. her career started in 1960, at 30 y/o and she would only start getting international acclaims at the early 2000s already having quite the advanced age.

Truth is, nobody peaks at 30, artist or otherwise! If anything, your 30s are when you’re just getting started and settled into your identity after having spent the 20s chaotically flailing through the character creation phase! No peak! Only grow!

you know, it's kind of funny to think that the pilot of noted was me complaining about alternatives to Adobe software looking back at it. not that A LOT has changed (well, some of it did - a lot of those in a positive note!) but goes to show the practicality of this being as timeless as possible.

i love to hear (through personal benchmarking) when artists make proper restorations of their medias (not upscales, just generally "making the image look good without mpeg2 artifacts") and the only thing that makes it differ from the master-tape is how much youtube's compression sucks ass

this month's (and a bit of the next one - from jan 9 to feb 17)'s a.m in the mice nest (micenest.xyz) is @santhehua.bsky.social . the first of its kind. each month or so i will be displaying in the frontpage a new-and-growing act with a dedicated styled look so you can check out their stuff.

nosey rodent has been updated to 2.1 notable changes: adding acute (thus completing most of basic and additional latin), kerning improvs to make the font feel nice under certain circumstances and the return of a ligature from nro 1.0. it is, per usual, free to acquire at micenest.xyz/nro/. :)
