Nine justices. 1 18-year term. Every president nominates 2 justices, and Congress must hold hearings and vote. Should a justice die, that president gets another nominee to finish the existing term.

I feel that Dr. Fauci should ignore any congressional subpoena and just go about his life. The Rs ignore those subpoenas often and with no repercussion. Why should he go?
