My heart goes out to all of you who fight with sensory issues. Nothing can convey the pain of a sound so invasive, it sends you into a mental tainspin from the desperation of trying to get away from it for hours.

Beware of predators with nice guy masks. They'll quietly rip apart your life & sanity while surrounding themself with the fans & enablers they've groomed. What's sick is that even if they slip up & face consequences they'll still try to "clear their name" as the unapologetic narcissist they are.

Some slop lover was trying to dunk on artists who reject AI, but what's funny is that my only truly bad artist experience was someone who used Midjourney to rush concepting a piece after I finally had enough with being endlessly deprioritized for 8 months.

Beware of pettiness but speak the truth you can about actual bad players. Sadly, there's sick people out there who weaponize NDAs to cover up unethical practices, abuse & even predators because they'd rather silence whistleblowers than own up & address Vic Mignogna-like harassment & grooming.

As yearly VA drama cycles around, remember the three central tenets of a comfortable life in this space: 1) Do not talk shit - unless you must go apeshit. 2) Tell the truth - unless you’d break an NDA. 3) Work hard - which means taking the time to step away.

Remember: You don't have to invent someone to blame for AI slop if you don't try to be slimy about AI slop in the first place. You can only lie to so many people for so many years before your reputation catches up with you.

"The terrible person's work was terrible anyways." No. People who are terrible can still make pretty things. That's the problem. People who equate "good things = good people" is the reason why so many are exploited, tricked, fooled, harmed, etc. As if all goodness is perceivable in any industry.

Reposting this as a resource. There's a lot of creeps in this industry still and sadly ones that are protected by people with power. Don't let a predator/abuser/sex pest ever get comfy feeling like they're invincible. They only get worse. The truth is worth its weight in gold.

Toby Fox's work never ceases to amaze me for how uncanny and uncomfortably relatable his characters are. One moment, you imprint with a character for their quirks. The next, they end up being a reflection of some of the darkest experiences of your soul. #deltarune

#tadcspoilers If there's one thing that stuck with me in the TADC finale, it's the tragedy of how someone can become so damaged by bad experiences that they can't process anyone being safe enough to trust. Even when they beg for a hand to hold, they bite it instinctively like an abused shelter dog.
