I finally deleted my Meta (Facebook / Instagram) accounts today. I have struggled with their business practices for years but I continued to use the FB Marketplace to sell my stuff locally. Though it came a time that I couldn't consciously support their shady business any longer. I am happier now.

People justify their use of animals as long as the animal was treated humanely. However, there's nothing kind or compassionate about the way we treat animals especially when there's no necessity to them being enclosed, used, exploited, mistreated and killed. The only way to be humane is to go vegan.

I have fought for over a year to delete my Facebook acct but I have been stuck using Marketplace to sell stuff. Craigslist was once the go to spot for the exchange of goods and services but lost people to FB Marketplace. I have decided that from today forward I will only use Craigslist to sell on.

Do we have an equivalent to Bernstein and Woodward doing investigative work right now? There must be enough going that's worthy of a scandal story about our current administration.
