A dreary blanket of wildfire smoke has settled over Puget Sound today. The Olympics and Cascade Mountains have disappeared:
We used to have topography here in Seattle, and the bluest skies you'll ever see. . . Today we're getting socked in with eastern Washington wildfire smoke. Our mountains have disappeared. And Puget Sound has turned a dreary steel grey. You can literally taste the smoke! 😬

I've been trying to get this shot of the Blue Angels passing by Seattle's Space Needle for years. Finally at the right spot today, even though I'm about five miles away out in the middle of Puget Sound! 😁
