Thinking your rights are safe while others lose theirs is a total trap. Freedom isn't a private stash; it's a team sport. If you don't stand up for your neighbor, you're just clearing the path for your own turn to get burned.
There are Republicans who will tell you that democracy doesn't work. Of course, that's true when Republicans are in charge.
Reminder to Colorado journalists: if you’re interviewing a winning candidate who usually claims that elections are rigged, ask them why this election was rigged in their favor.
It's less important to win over maga, and absolutely necessary to speak to those who have lost faith in American democracy and the social contract. Dems must face them and offer legislative packages to address their financial, health, and housing needs.

The work does not end on the campaign trail. I will commit to holding regular town halls and meet people where they are. I know that people are tired of representatives who have been in D.C. for too many years and have forgotten their needs.
