This is fascinating. There's an unexpected culprit for the dinosaurs' enormous scale: us (well, mammals, anyway).

They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.
We've returned to the stage of summer where I get up each morning, look outside, and check "Water garden" off my to-do list.

Looking to improve my fantasy baseball roster, but man...the waiver wire is a roiling sea of suck.
Lately my cat has started playing fetch. I'll be sitting at my desk, and he'll run up with one of his favorite toys in his mouth, place it in my hand, and wait patiently for me to throw it. Then repeat.

We can still detect her long ago gentle touches on the back of a chair, or a favorite teacup's handle, the whisper of ghostly lips upon the rim. Her notebooks are locked in lead boxes. Nearly 100 years after her death her presence lingers.
