Ok so like... I still prefer the visuals, general art-direction and control scheme of the 3DS version but well... I'm open to a new take on my favourite Zelda game. But it'll probably take YEEEEARS until I actually get to play it because, y'know, I'm poor...

And how much has removing them done to actually increase the reach of the genre? Looking at 2XKO I'd say probably not much... Heck, even Melee players started inventing their own motion commands to make the game more fun for themselves...

There we go, I beat Super Mario Bros on the Master System! I spent more time on world 8 alone than in worlds 1~7 combined... I'm tired... Bloody good port though! Absolutely worth playing!

So I was trying to play FF1 right... But there's these awful, overly long, really mentally draining and patience-testing dungeons with pretty much nothing worthwhile at the end... I took a break from the game after getting to the end of the 3rd one and like... I just found out they're optional...

Haven't posted much about gamedev for a while because, well, there was just nothing to show... Welp, here's something! At the moment it's little more than a graphics showcase, as I'm having to re-do this basically from scratch to accommodate for the VASTLY Improved new GB Studio version.

Actually nobody is going to have to make a hard choice. It's incredibly fucking easy not to spend money on and play a game. It's FREE. Not condoning GenAI and not contributing to it IS FREE. If you do play it, you're a scab and you deserve the shithole of a games industry that exists right now.
