“When will it be the last one?” Sixty-seven moves in our lives. Moving has become an unavoidable theme in my work, because it both enriches you and slowly pulls you apart. Each relocation leaves something behind, while adding another layer to whom you become.
Handmade paper made from old cotton rags, drying on celluloid, a moment that feels quietly poetic. These sheets are becoming the source for a small biographical piece I’m planning, carrying traces of past lives, worn, washed, and transformed.
Graphite & Gold I’m drawn to rhythm and structure, but just as much to chaos, the two are inseparable. In my work, I almost always begin with structure, simply to see where chaos decides to appear.
