We like to tell everyone about a very cool feature added by Sam McHardy, block search. You can then enter a word that would appear on the block. It searches for the word both in the built-in block palette and in all of the built-in libraries. This is a super useful feature. Thanks, Sam!

This was an event called "Computer Science Showcase" in Boston. The activity was called "Open the Puzzle Box". Kids had to answer riddles and solve coding problems. The final riddle answer was sent to a micro:bit inside the treasure box. If correct, the box would open and NeoPixels would flash.

The interactive light table from Citilab arrives at Cornellà nursery schools. Children in the nursery schools can now experiment with the light table designed by Citilab and assembled by the teachers. The Table is programmed using MicroBlocks.

The MicroBlocks team had a great week during #faberllull in Olot (Catalunya). We met with people from #Snap, @turtlestitch.bsky.social, @citilab.bsky.social and others to discuss education and work on our projects. We did presentations for teachers and some workshops for children.
