big solitary cumulonimbus dropping in like a mothership. the scale of this is hard to grasp. that low ridge over there is actually some of the highest peaks in colorado, 8000 ft or more higher than this viewpoint. that storm is MILES tall.

occasionally posting moody, undersaturated photos that look bad on a phone screen in the middle of the night when nobody will see them 🚲📚🧪📷🌊👻🦅 [all photos by me]
not sure what i expected angine de poitrine to be but it wasn't "middle-eastern prog jam metal"
i made some unplanned carnitas last night, so breakfast this morning was carnitas & eggs tostadas. i thought it looked cool! it was tasty, but to be honest a bit dry. i should've done the salsa in the food processor instead of chopping it but i don't always make the best choices before coffee.
chili season is over, you fools!!! it is now.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................'𝑠𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑢𝑠𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑛
posted a version of this before but i wanted to see if it looked better with the exciting new file sizes
pensacola beach, fl, 1/2026 the only person i saw in the water all week
can anyone recommend an image editing app for mac? i don't need much more than the default photos app can do, but some basic drawing tools at least. i'd rather not use adobe. what's the mac equivalent of paint dot net?

BEHOLD. every year i grab as much citrus as i'm allowed from the fruit basket my aunt sends us and juice it all into what my brother has dubbed CHRISTMAS JUICE. it glows with concentrated christmas power, and let me tell you it is some real holy shit on new year's morning.
spooky season isn't 10/1 through halloween, it's 11/1 through halloween amateurs
it's once again that magical time of year when i spend a month telling myself "maybe if i watch a bunch of horror movies i'll come to like them." the stories look so interesting! but my closet is always so, so dark, and my glasses are never where i left them, when something half wakes me up at 3AM.
couple last beach photos before fall. lightning pics are of course corny and cliche, except mine which are sooooo coooool. i love the huge explosions in the clouds!! south carolina 2008
colorado has its charms, but i love the ocean more than anything. not gonna see it this year though, maybe next.
they dropped long rock jetties about every 1/4 mile to try to keep the beach in place. it's futile of course, but the rocks attract a ton of wildlife like these cockles. south carolina 2016
no idea where the black sand comes from, or why it's laid down in a pattern. south carolina 2013
this is my kind of beach: endless white sand, low waves and tide pools, no people. this isn't anything exotic and expensive, it's just south carolina. 2013
it's been so long since stranger things s1 came out, i'm not nostalgic for the time depicted on the show, i'm nostalgic for the time when stranger things s1 came out
