Looking back at the #MPSWorldSummit— 1,500 participants + 100 industry exhibitors highlighted the growth & energy of MPS & #OoC communities! We witnessed groundbreaking progress as the field evolves toward complex, human models fueled by strong collaboration across developers, industry & regulators!

It’s a wrap! Peter’s keynote concluded the scientific program of the #MPS World Summit, co-organized by #EUROoCS. It’s been an incredible week, full of inspiring ideas & fresh perspectives—it’ll surely take a few days for everything to sink in. Wishing all participants a relaxing weekend! 🙌🏻

👏 Congrats on a fantastic talk on our plug & play connection system for #MultiOrganChips, Hannah! The presented modular platform enables robust, low-dead-volume connections across diverse #OoC setups — including tumor–lymphoid models! A big step toward more scalable, interconnected organ models! 🙌

Founding Director Don Ingber spoke to @wbur.org about the implications of the FDA Modernization Act 2.0, the FDA’s plan to phase out animal testing, & what’s required to make that a reality. He discussed alternatives like Organ Chips & AI, & our Director of SynBio, Jenny Tam, spoke about organoids.

Is animal testing even needed anymore?

Running tests on lab rats, mice and other species is an integral part of biomedical research. Now, some say artificial intelligence and other technologies could soon make the practice obsolete.
