I preparation for season 4 of Ted Lasso I’m going all the way back to season 1 and starting over. Not because I’ve forgotten the story line, since I’ve probably watched it 50 times start to finish, but because it’s just so fucking great.
People keep pointing out that Blanche shouldn’t be hired because he’s corrupt, unethical, and acting as trump’s personal attorney. What they’re missing is that these are the exact reasons trump is hiring him. No honest, ethical person would ever work for someone like trump.
What some in and out of politics don’t seem to grasp is that no one, absolutely not a single person, gets a job with this administration without pledging 100% loyalty to trump. He demands that his best interests are put ahead of everything and everyone else’s, including the hiree’s.

Just for shits and giggles Obama should announce he’s considering running for a third term. I’d love to watch maga heads explode and hear all their reasons why it’s unconstitutional for Obama but not for trump (of course the only reasons would be because he’s black and very popular).
We’ve come a long way from trump claiming he was going to “self-fund” his presidential campaign. The fact that he was obviously lying should have ended it.
trump and this administration do things weekly that should get them arrested and yet the media just moves on to the next story. The conservatives on the Supreme Court are largely to blame.

I just learned a new term and realize it applies to trump. The reason he shows up at all of these big sporting events is because he’s trying to do what’s called “sport washing.” He’s trying to use sport as a way to enhance and improve his image. It’s what Hitler did in 1936 and Videla in 1976.
Watching a documentary about that FIFA corruption leading up to the 2015 arrests. The DoJ was involved in the investigation. FIFA is still extremely corrupt but the difference now is the DoJ is part of the corruption.
The reason trump desperately wants immunity from tax evasion is because he’s stealing so much money from the treasury that he thinks when it’s discovered he won’t have to pay taxes on it. He’s literally asking for a law that shields him and his family from ever paying taxes again. Just them.
