our discord interactions have been entirely 100% plural for a long time now that when interacting with new people / communities there we have to break the "muscle memory" of using plural pronouns

in an aus interview w/foxclon & koji fox they said after cross-dc matching they want look into revisiting cross region travel to open it up completely (OCE to others, NA to EU, etc.) no TL ofc but at least it's still on the table… ofc we'd be the ones to ask given Materia being a one way visit lol

there's a TTS plugin for xiv (for chat and unvoiced NPC dialogue) but didnt want to use any of the cloud based integrations so i implemented a websocket client to fwd it to macOS system voices (which also have a wide variety of accents).
