It's a good thing I moved the compost this year. In addition to the general "weeds", a gourd vine has decided it lives here now. 😬🌱🎃 (It may be a pumpkin, it may be a decorative gourd. I have scattered both everywhere. We'll find out!)
I hate statistics. It's basically a manipulation of numbers used to hype, downplay, or distract from horrible things, depending on what it's being used for. It's a weapon of propaganda.
How is it when I ask a question I get no answers, but when I'm just sharing something I get all kinds of unsolicited advice? I'd really like to know why these flowers look so sad so I can help them. 😕

Gentlemen, if you are opting out of fatherhood (or know you don’t want more children), now would be a great time for a vasectomy. Don’t put birth control responsibility on the woman/women you love. I highly recommend #plannedparenthood for the procedure. Easy, painless, & the right thing to do.

In case anyone was wondering, if you let spearmint and catnip battle it out in a single garden patch, the catnip will win. 😬 Like don't ever again tell me spearmint is invasive. In my garden it absolutely isn't. It got run over by a hollyhock ffs. Leave the spearmint alone. 💚
Surprise! The Surprise Lilies bloomed today. 🌱 Usually don't see them until August, but I suppose it's a special full moon so here they are! 💓
And the other bud is starting to open! 🌱 I wonder if it's heat that triggers them. Because it's been pretty awful in this room. 🥵
🌱 Are you in the heat dome? Or within the range of forest fires? It’s time to put out multiple bowls of fresh water & renew them at least daily. Be sure there’s a rock or a branch in the bowl so a desperate small creature doesn’t drown getting water. 🚨 WATER for your WILD NEIGHBORS, please 🚨
