At some point as a CEO you have to realize who actually butters your toast. I know this is not the audience you wanted but its the audience you HAVE. Chasing an entirely different audience will just ensure that you lose everything.

So many of us, even with our disagreements, are stuck for the rest of our lives under the giant thumb of a system that wasn't built for us and that would watch us die in agony and crippling debt and not even blink. Everyone except the people pulling the strings of that power deserves much better.
I feel the same way about this as I did when I found out Dragoneer passed due largely to the American healthcare system failing him. It's hard to put into words. I don't wish even people I consider problematic the kind of unending horror that is having your body fail you in a way you can't afford.

It's one thing to have an AI do boilerplate or track down a bug or something. It's another to just yell "build me an app" or "design me a UI" at it. When the results are clearly beyond your own skillset, it is evident to all who see it. You have not created an asset, you've created a burden.

I keep hearing this refrain from the AI bros: "At least I'm creating something!" and...first of all, you do realize that people who don't use AI still create things (myself included), right? Second...you are creating slop, unsupervised garbage, asbestos that fills the walls of the Internet forever.

This is a pretty blatant example of a common trick used by news organizations to push a bigoted agenda while claiming to be just a neutral reporter. Go out and find people who have the view you want to push, and report about them. A key method of propaganda is choosing which facts to report on.
So CNN is just openly suggesting that the Mayor of New York City should not be allowed to attend 9/11 memorial just because he is Muslim. "Some 9/11 families say" and it's one guy who doesn't even live in the city anymore and an online poll with no verification of the status of those polled.
