Producer 🧢 > researching on laptop and writing scripts on the left. Writer 🎩 > rewriting and finessing an old script (I’m talking “first draft from 2016” old!) after a brainwave last night. Both roles need coffee to keep switching between the two. #scriptsky #wfh

Okay fine, I’ve booked The Odyssey in IMAX. Waiting til 28th August to save my neck.
Do I wait until like 24th August to see #TheOdyssey just so I can see it in IMAX at the BFI? 🤔
I've never experienced IMAX before, and while The Odyssey seems like the best introduction to the format... the only tickets available in July are front two rows. Crooked neck vs waiting til mid August...
17th July, big day for cinema. Naturally, I went this morning to see a fantastic film. Excellent direction, phenomenal cast and performances. Very entertaining and would definitely watch again. See 'The Invite' while you can, people! (... aiming to catch The Odyssey in IMAX next month)

Love how this feels like something truly unique give the current landscape of cinema, while at the same time reminds me of Project Hail Mary (and not just because of Sandra Hüller) in a good way. Iñárritu's past work is stellar, so I'm very keen to see this!
Watch the first trailer for Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Digger, starring Tom Cruise, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Riz Ahmed and Jesse Plemons 👀 In theaters October 2.
Proud of this piece I produced/edited for @financialtimes.com (via FT Schools) with @johnreedwrites.ft.com explaining his explainer series. The way people consume news is changing, and John has the right idea to change with it! If you're a #journalism student, be sure to watch, great insight here.
True stories are fascinating. Often, many moments are unbelievable yet prove to be a major turning point for a story. My last two scripts have been "brand biopics" of sorts, because honestly I think audiences can learn so much from exploring a true story. I learn a lot in writing them. #scriptsky

When I’m not producing you will likely find me writing. (this half of the garden is still a work in progress) #scriptsky
The sunlight last night was giving some great vibes. Or should that be Black Sunlight? 👀
Days like today, I’m very glad we put the time and effort into finishing up our WFH office space. It’s cool, bright, somewhat airy while the sun is on the other side of the house, and comfortable.
So Lin-Manuel Miranda's WARRIORS is heading for Broadway in March 2027? If anyone would like to get me tickets, both plane and theatre, I will gladly, gladly accept. That album is fantastic and I hoped since release it would make it's way into a full on production eventually.
My original contract placement was for 3 months. Had confirmation today that it's been extended yet again, which would bring it to 18 months upon completion. Feeling extremely grateful to continue producing video for the FT and helping their trusted journalism reach a younger audience!
DMs on here are age-restricted for me again, now that I'm back in the UK. Sorry if anyone is waiting for a reply!
This was absolutely the best decision I've made in a long time. The Photographer ➡️ The Photos
My daughter has always been interested in my Sony DSLR, and loved “taking pics” with my LEGO Polaroid set. So, ahead of our holiday soon, I got her (well, us) a Polaroid camera. I’ve never shot anything but digital, so of course I had to try it to ensure it works 👀

Shame that people (in my own borough) didn't learn from Brexit or see the global damage that Trump's administration - in style and approach - is currently causing. Instead, they want more of all that and at local levels? Well, that's democracy. Let's hold them to it.

Saddened at the passing of Kenji Ohba. An OG Tokusatsu hero, in more ways than one, who was never ashamed of his career, evidenced by how he always gave so much to the genre as the decades went by.

I'm making slow but solid progress with my main script. I'm coming up to a half way point in writing the first draft of my next script, another biopic of sorts (I love a true story). So why is my brain obsessing over a THIRD script idea??? #scriptsky
4 episodes into The Pitt and yeah, I can see the hype. It's very well done.
Glad Bluesky is back up in time for #LetterboxdFriday. Here's my #LastFourWatched. - one from a genre I don't usually watch, and enjoyed. - one was something I've been wanting to see for ages. - one I found incredibly well executed. - one my wife fell asleep at...
Finally foldered away Twitter/X. Just full of bots, bait and brain dead activity. I’d delete it if I didn’t need it for PwrRngr but at least muscle memory can’t open it now.
