I follow politics and the news ...... "Radical Left Scum" who believes in democracy, civil rights, the Constitution and the rule of law

Trump told a CBS station in Texas that he doesn't think he needs congressional approval to send over a trillion dollars to American citizens in "dividends"

Rep. Robert Garcia: "Donald Trump is a known liar…The dividend is not happening. He promised a dividend on the tariffs, that didn't happen. He promised a dividend on DOGE, that didn't happen…He's made everything more expensive and he needs to stop lying."

Trump has promised multiple stimulus checks (have you received one?) He promised his tariffs would revive U.S. manufacturing (we've lost manufacturing jobs). He promised lower gas prices (they're higher now). He promised to keep us out of new wars (he started one with Iran). Noticing a pattern?

Laura Ingraham: "Why not just give the $5,000 to people now? ...If you have it, why not just give it now?" Trump: "Because the Democrats can’t do it. Because with them, it’s negative growth."

Rep. Dean: Families are paying $300 more for groceries this year, $100 more for electricity, $600 more for gasoline, not to mention the cost of diesel, since Trump took office and as a result of his failed policies. In 2 years' time, Republicans have not passed a single bill that would lower costs.

Hillary Clinton: "I love Israel, and I hate Netanyahu's government and his policies. I love America, and I hate Trump's government and policies ... if the Israelis want to vote for that again, then I think the United States has to take a very tough position."

Collins: "If someone was paying $2.98 a gallon before the war and now pays $4.53, telling them 'that's life' may not make them feel better." Jim Jordan: ...."Those are your words, not mine." Collins: "You just said that. ...I quoted you."

Fmr Trump staffer on Trump's $5,000 checks: "I don't think it's gonna happen. The math I ran was about $1.3 trillion. I'm not sure how they'd do it legally. You can't spend money unless Congress appropriates it...that's only $300 billion. And if you actually did it, it would simply be inflationary"

Ari Melber reduces Peter Navarro to stammering as he presses him on how un-American and authoritarian his view is that the government should dictate who hosts on Fox and what they say

Hillary Clinton: .."Right now, we are not a serious country. We are a dangerous country. We are causing all kind of problems in the world. We're picking fights with our best friends. We're giving passes to those who wish us ill. We are not a serious country and we don't have serious leadership."
