dark mode - just making sure the first few taps feel good 🤏🏻
What if dashboards felt like cinema? So I went and made a few. Different products, same philosophy - every transition intentional, every detail alive. Here's a collection of what I've been building:
Some more shots from the ASCII plugin for After Effects I am working on 🫴🏻 (lots of fun!)
Been playing with this frosted glass look for suggestion cards
Started building my ASCII generator plugin for After Effects, and super excited about how it’s working so far - and where it’s headed... ✌🏻
Plan a trip, choose where you’re going, and get to the next step without overthinking it Recent trips, suggested places, fewer empty states, fewer little pauses. Not a huge feature, just trying to make the app feel easier from the first few taps 🤏🏻
Make someone feel something when they look at a dashboard...🤌🏻 Just finished it. Here's what came out:
A tiny teaser before the full cinematic dashboard drops... 🫴🏻
mobile airline seat-selection screen, in motion
Want people to feel your product before they even try it? That’s where animation helps. No long explanations. No confusing screenshots. Just simple motion that makes everything clear right away. Some recent animations I've done:
Simple motion pass on a grocery app I designed some time ago ✨
animating a dashboard and treating it like a film scene... When the motion is right, even a chart can give you chills... (sharing full soon)
This is the quiet part… The part where I sit for hours refining the tiny details - the spacing, the flow, the wording, the moments users barely notice. But those details are often what make a product feel trustworthy, simple, and worth coming back to 🤏🏻
Good design does one job: It helps people understand faster. Not designers. Not awards judges. The people who may buy, click, join, or act. That is easy to forget when designers praise the work more than customers do.
some cinematic shots from the new dashboard animation 🎥
Working on a cinematic dashboard animation... I want this one to feel alive - like every number has a story and every transition has a purpose. Stay tuned 🎥
Generated motion all moves the same way. Smooth, correct, forgettable. The stuff people stop for has a hand behind it. A choice you can feel. When every clip looks perfect, a human decision is what stands out.
Working on a new animation, and this is probably my favourite transition I’ve ever made... 🤌🏻
