It’s really cool to have Primes on the shelf. I’m not getting the Star Optimus because he’s too big for my shelf. I may just put one of my many Optimuses on the shelf as a stand in. I’m also still on the fence about getting the Sentinel Prime that’s coming out soon since he’s not one of the 13.

I picked up these DX9 Datsun bros on the Magic Square website because they were surprisingly cheap. I never liked these guys because their legs look like the back half of a car. These designs fix that, they also slim down the chest. I have complaints with the transformation, but they look very nice.

What’s so great about this is that I only got the first member of Computron back in April. And now, 4 months later, we have a complete combiner. Magic Square did an incredible job on this set. Every figure is solid in every mode. And Computron himself looks like he stepped out of the cartoon.

Bingo Toys Computron is 2/5 complete. Their next release is “Einstein” also known as Scattershot. I do like their use of Scientist code names. What I like about these is the cohesion of the designs. The use a lot of similar designs to make them look like they belong together. At least for these two.

“Don’t talk to me or my son ever again.” It’s cool to get two Afterburners at the same time, and in two different scales. The bingo toys Newton is masterpiece scaled, and hyper stylized. The legends Magic Square is G1 cartoon accurate, almost to a fault. I’ve never liked his cartoon model alt mode.

Ahh. The pirate’s price. A buck an ear.

We were robbed in 2007. This was the line that won the fan vote. We could have heard Peter Cullen utter these iconic words. Instead we got that lame “Freedom is the right of all sentient beings”. Which, sure… it’s fine. But nothing will ever beat “I am going to turn into a truck now”.

Bingo Toys Newton came in yesterday. I spent last night playing with it. He’s 99% perfect. I love the paint, the details, articulation, and transformation. My one issue is that the side hip skirt are way too lose. It’s only an issue in arm mode. Other than that, absolute perfection.

I wonder who will die tomorrow.

Not finished, but I needed more shelf space, so I got new shelves. I wish they were a little bigger, so I could replace every shelf in my room with these, but I’d lose too much display room over all. But I’m happy to finally have a spot to properly display some of my Transformers.
