I recently bought a 3D printer (I’m a white guy in my 40s, it was either this or start a podcast) and I just got a few tools to help with everything and I excitedly said “Oh boy, I can print something to hold all these tools!” And yeah, that’s how they get you. You print things for your printer.

This has happened a few times in the 5 years we’ve had Poppy. We started cooking for her instead. Luckily she is a small dog so cooking for her isn’t all that expensive, it’s may actually be cheaper and only takes us 30 minutes a month to meal prep for her.

My company actually emailed me that it was time to update my laptop to a newer model. I had to fight and complain for months at previous jobs when they wouldn’t replace a 6 year old laptop with a bloated battery. It’s nice to be somewhere that cares about their employees.
