If the Brewers were actively trying to acquire Skubal, with the prospects they have, I hope their final offer gets leaked. Fans of every other teams are pissed at the Dodgers, let everyone see if the Brewers lowballed the Tigers, or if the system is rigged for the Dodgers.

He was neither surprised nor upset, but acknowledged some disappointment after feeling like the Brewers were actually going for the deadline prize this time:
At dinner last night, guy next to me said that he is a Dodger fan, but felt the Dodgers are overspending. My response was, we lived through McCourt and so we deserve this. The guy started defending McCourt and said MLB screwed McCourt. I immediately said, we’re going to have to agree to disagree.
