Great to see Hesketh Park in Southport busy with families and teeming with wildlife today. The play area and café were full, the Makers Market had lots of visitors and there was just a lovely atmosphere. My highlight was seeing all the wildlife flourishing, especially the young birds growing up.

Tonight at a Sefton Council committee meeting, a Labour councillor said “heat pumps don’t work”. That is interesting because my business is installing one this week. I’ll post a video of it working and explain the most common feedback I’ve had from customers. Spoiler: it’s overwhelmingly positive.

May was a very busy month with the election and in my business, but still managed to get lots done for the area. It’s great to now have three Lib Dem councillors in Cambridge Ward working together on lots of local issues. #CambridgeWard #Southport
