As political anxiety rises, I see many angry and negative posts across what I read in BlueSky. I get it, but remember that our best future comes from hope. Yes, we need a boatload of dispassionate law enforcement, but we also need to build, not just destroy. Educate, don't hate.

I was a physics and math teacher, but now I own a brewpub. I want to help people understand each other.
I just want to be sure everyone understands the assignment. Spread the word. We need dispassionate execution of the law, and no compromise positions with Nazis.
I will support any Democrat willing to take over leadership in the Senate and House who will 100% follow the leadership instruction attached here. No more playing nice with Republican Nazi Party. Time to hold them accountable for their crimes and allowing trump to get away with his criminal acts.
Just so all my friends know, promising every adult $5000 if the Republicans win both houses is free speech. Actually doing it is over 200 million counts of federal crime. That's why he can say it with no repercussions. Lying is legal.
Okay everyone. Here’s the YouTube interview with @jimmykimmel.com and @jamestalarico.bsky.social You know what to do. Watch it. Share it. Donate. Bury them. youtu.be/WLDE9LrGpNk?...

You can't lie or steal your way into a good economy. People are going to learn that the hard way.
A wild concept: Let everyone live in the USA unless there is a good reason to exclude them.
Just to make a point. Suppose a rich person makes 10M in a bad economy but pays no tax. Now suppose they make 100M in a good economy with 90% tax. They still keep 10M. This is approximately how it works. Tax the rich. It doesn't hurt them.
Let's clean this shit up. Don't just sit around sad. Plan your next move.
I'll be a lot happier to celebrate Independence Day when our culture celebrated education more than cruelty.
We still had diplomatic options as supported by 47's own intelligence. If this foolish move results in in the deaths of dozens or more US soldiers, it will make 47 the worst commander in chief of my life.
Democrats need to upgrade their brand: Make democracy fun again. We need passion anf joy.
I don't know if anyone has coined the phrase yet, but I support democratic globalism.
I find it disturbing that 47 thinks those who didn't vote for him hate America--which he never explicitly said, but it seems a logical conclusion. Not only does he not appreciate diversity, I don't even think he understands it.
Oh! You asked me! I should have understood before I did. Your vote is special. Use it. Always....
It seems common now for people who make mistakes to double down and pretend nothing is wrong. If I ran Solar Brewing that way, I'd be making some seriously bad beer and no decent people would work for me.
Every day that passes with deported people in a foreign prison without due process is a victory for 47. Every day the nation resists future similar deportations is a victory for the nation. We are on a knife edge. I am surprised we have maintained this balance for so long.
Over half of our congressmen and senators allow us to have a president who commits high crimes. It is shameful we must wait for a midterm election for a Congress who might act on this.
Probably very few people will see this, but our nation needs to be here. We need to feel the pain about once in four generations. We need to feel the pain of ignorance about fascism.
I'm not Catholic, but I can get behind anyone who stands for humility and social justice. The world needs this.
This is May Day. It is the original day used to bring awareness to workers rights and issues to ensure fair treatment. It has been essentially replaced by Labor Day which is devoted to cook outs and family. They are both valid but definitely not the same.
If you watch how the USA votes in the UN, it's pretty clear we are the bad guys.
I have always known the world contains good and bad people, but over the past several years I have learned the median person is a lot worse than I thought. Twenty years ago the phrase "stay woke" was used by Black people to mean "watch your back". It may now be applied to anyone with compassion.
Honestly, I was never a fan of Martha Stewart before she went to prison. She has some humility now that I really like. She rose from the ashes.
In the household I grew up in, we had a balanced budget. Maybe Clinton thought the same. Are we the only ones?
