I'm proud and lucky to have been trusted as a technical reviewer for the 2nd edition of Jeremy Evans' excellent book Polished Ruby Programming! So, I'm biased, but I wasn't biased when I read the 1st edition and I also called that excellent! Link also digs the book but on a whole other level! 😻💤
Ahhh, thanks for the kind words! Was fun to chat! See y'all at SF Ruby Conf in November!!
San Francisco Ruby Conference, Nov 10-12, 2026@sfruby.com · last mo.The people in this community are warm, open, smart, and fun. 🤩 @milesgeorgi.bsky.social has all of those qualities. If you've been to a Ruby meetup in the country, you've likely seen him. He's attending our conference this year, and we had a little chat with him so you can get to know him too.
My RubyConf talk is up! Many laughed. Many learned a thing or two about ractors. Some experienced both! Was definitely super fun and I'm grateful to have had such an opportunity! youtu.be/JUyJ4uuSMjU?...
