Reference vs Art Just to be sure it will work I made rough mockup from model from reference pack, pike photo and for hair I was thinking entanglement of fishing net, which I abandoned latter, but face in shadow stayed.

I'm a very strong believer in making your own references. Whether it's selfies, 3D software, traditional sculpting, friends posing... there are so many great ways
