I've just released that mod I was making for The Lab. I'm calling it VapourTap, and it's like OnAirTap, but for games using the SteamVR Unity Plugin, so you can externally composite your VTuber into the game. My testing ability is a bit limited, so I would appreciate some feedback. #VTuberTech

Hey Did you know that it's a bad idea to start fires in the fifth heatwave of the summer? I've just been informed that it's true. You learn something new every day.

If I have a maths question, and I'm not a complete novice, but I don't know the terms needed to describe the question, what do I do? Is there a place for that?

After successful extended testing, RC1 is now officially VRnyan 2.1 and works with OnAirTap 1.1 which brings many new features, including the ability to disable transparent walls in Beat Saber by changing the layer masks so that walls look the same on stream as they do in-game! #VNyan #VTuberTech

Just put out a pre-release version of OnAirTap v1.1 The two main additions are - An OWML port (for NomaiVR's LIV addon) - A MelonLoader port It would be very helpful if some people could test it and send feedback, as I am not currently able to fully test those features. github.com/milkydelta/O...

There's a few changes here. I'll leave explanations for the non-prerelease version. The MelonLoader port has been built against (and tested with) MelonLoader 0.7.3 on Open Brush v2.30. That's a Mon...

Just realised that I left 4 fountain pens out through the entirety of the recent heatwave. The ink has completely dried, so I'm going to have to spent the next few hours cleaning them out.

Over the last two months, I've been doing some programming projects. I'm really proud of what I've made, and it's honestly been one of the main highlights of the year so far. Having a thing to do feels good. I want to make them open-source, so they're still around if I get hit by a bus on Friday.

Just heard that Plasma is dropping the X11 session in a few months. Now I need to figure out how to fix my sddm config, so it works with other sessions. I've been putting it off for over a year, but now there's an approaching deadline.

why is england so hot? i expect england to be in one of two weather states: overcast or raining. my house is insulated, my fan is broken, and my window has no curtains i'm desiccating here. my life is not built to deal with this.

I love software, so much. It's great when everything works and nothing goes wrong and all the things you're building atop do what they're supposed to do.

In my experience, Steam Link has been much better than Sunshine. I regularly have to remote into my home PC over a very unreliable network. Using the moonlight client, I can barely manage 480p at 15 FPS. Over that same connection, Steam Link is able to do 720p at 60 FPS

I've had my account for a while. Still not sure how to do "microblogging". What's the bar for a post-worthy thought? I'll probably figure it out eventually.
