So... the "no war" president got us into a war in the middle east, where we'd need boots on the ground and years and trillions of $$ to "change regimes". We've played this game not that long ago in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iraq cost over $2.5 trillion, and Afghanistan cost $2.6 trillion (Brown U).
